手鳥 The Manitor

"The Manitor" is a worldbuilding series based on dinosaurs and ancient creatures, which begin and release around August 2023. It is inspired by a project "A world of dinosauroids", created by C. M. Kösemen and Simon Roy, an imaginary world where only some dinosaurs survived.

In the world view of "The Manitor", humans do not exist, and many dinosaurs we are familiar with have become extinct. Only a group of maniraptoran dinosaurs and some mammals survived and began to evolve to occupy the world.

There are two main themes in this project . The first is to get rid of the design of "human" or "humanoid". If the current civilization was not built by humans, but by other species, what kind of world would it be like? Perhaps they will develop a civilization similar to "human civilization", but there will certainly be many interesting differences. The second is that the historical background references are the "Paleolithic Age" and the "Neolithic Age".

I think these two eras were a period when humans were exploring the differences between their own groups and other species, and how to interact with nature and other creatures. It was full of uncertainty but very fascinating. Therefore, I hope that "The Manitor" can be presented to readers in such a world.

《手鳥》是一個以恐龍和古生物為主的Worldbuilding系列創作，於2023年8月左右開始創作並發布。靈感來自於 C. M. Kösemen與 Simon Roy 共同創作的系列作品 A world of dinosauroids，一個部份恐龍倖存的架空世界。

在《手鳥》的世界觀中，人類並不存在，許多我們熟知的恐龍也都滅絕了，只剩下一群手盜龍形類的恐龍和一些哺乳類動物倖存，並開始演化佔據這個世界。

《手鳥》的創作主旨有二個。第一個是擺脫「人類」或是「人形生物」的設計。如果現在的文明不是人類建立的，是其他物種所建立的，那會是什麼樣的世界？或許他們會發展出與「人類文明」相似的文明，但肯定會有許多有趣的相異之處。第二個是時代背景參考以「舊石器時代」與「新石器時代」為主。

這兩個時代，我覺得是人類正在摸索與自己的群體和其他物種之間的差異，以及如何與大自然和其他生物互動的一個時期，充滿不確定性但非常迷人。因此，我希望《手鳥》是以一個這樣的世界呈現給讀者。
