“Shiny & Moony” is a 12-episode animated series adapted from Jimmy Liao’s picture book of the same name. The story follows two children, the lively Shiny and the sensitive Moony, as they navigate emotions, relationships, and self-discovery on their journey of growing up. After entering Fantasy Town in their dreams, Shiny and Moony form a team of Dream Explorers with their friends and set out to search for the lost stars. With warmth and humor, the series explores themes of empathy, self-expression, confidence, and courage, while extending the imaginative world and emotional depth that define Jimmy Liao’s works.
