The debut series by horohoro is inspired by the refined woodworking techniques of Japan. Japanese Kumiko involves precisely cutting wooden strips, creating mini joints, and assembling them. Beginning with a basic hexagon, the number of strips within it is increased following specific rules to form intricate geometric patterns. These patterns are commonly featured in Japanese Shoji screen doors and window designs.
