About Ten YU

來自雨都宜蘭，現居台北的多方位音樂製作人，曲風融合了 R&B、Psychedelic Soul、Folktronica，擅長以 Hip Hop 為底蘊，透過 funk吉他與溫暖聲線的切換，將樂符間的縫隙完美融合。

出生於Y2K時代的他，聆聽經驗沈浸於千禧年中後期的流行音樂與獨立樂團，深受Montown、Prince、Frank Ocean 等廠牌與創作者影響。

在樂團 他者 The Other 時期擔任吉他手，曾以單曲〈異常開心的一支舞〉入圍第七屆金音獎最佳電音單曲。目前為音樂廠牌《群山工事》主理人，近期甫發行個人首張EP《靜水》。

Ten YU is a singer-songwriter, producer, and writer based in Taipei. Through his unique voice and guitar sound, his songs create an atmosphere of dancing in solitude.

Having grown up in the Y2K era, he was influenced by the music of Frank Ocean, Prince, and Bon Iver, which gives his songs a fusion of funk, R&B, hip-hop, and folk.

After using Ableton as the basis of creation, he explored the possibilities of various instruments, and therefore called himself a one-man band.

During his time with The Other band, Ten was nominated for Best Electronic Single at the 7th Golden Melody Awards. In late 2022, he released his first solo EP "Still Water".
