Yi-Wei Yang is a Taipei-based Zheng player trained in classical and modern Chinese music, as well as traditional Taiwanese Beiguan and Nanguan, and free improvisational music. Holding both an M.A. in Musicology from Taipei National University of the Arts and a B.A. in Zheng performance from Tainan National University of the Arts, Yi-Wei Yang has collaborated with a diverse range of ensembles, premiering both solo compositions and ensemble-based contemporary works. Currently, she is focusing on exploring the relationship between music and dance through improvisation, while incorporating experimental zheng technique and unorthodox textures.

楊懿惟是一位居住於台北、來自南投的古箏演奏者，擁有古典音樂訓練、現代國樂培土及臺灣南管、北管音樂的基底，同時亦廣泛投入於當代音樂與即興音樂之領域，首演多首獨奏及室內樂作品。此外，也擅長以細膩的筆觸帶來音樂節目及人物推介，相關文章多次刊載於《PAR表演藝術》雜誌。

近年參與之重要演出，包括墨西哥莫雷利亞音樂節（Festival de Música de Morelia，2019）、再壹波藝術節（2019、2020）、韓國全州國際音樂節（Jeonju International Sori Festival，2020）、電與非電之間─三貂嶺聲音藝術祭（2021）、驫舞劇場「混沌身響」第七季第三番（2023）；並於2023舉辦個人獨奏會《小邁步》。

甫於2024年九月參與OneBeat Taiwan於豐濱兩週的駐地計畫，與不同背景的其他音樂家及工作團隊進行高能量的音樂交流。目前，她專注於透過即興創作探索音樂和舞蹈之間的關係，同時結合實驗性的古箏演奏技巧與非正規的質地。
