<h3>歡迎你來學台語！</h3>(Enlgish below)你好，我是温若喬，ohtaigi 的創辦人兼唯一經營者，謝謝你點進來了解這個帳號的故事。ohtaigi 是我大學時在 instagram 成立的帳號，本意是想透過年輕人也會喜歡的設計，改變大家隱隱約約認為台語是「不登大雅之堂的方言」這種印象，讓更多人認識這個語言。那時是 2019 年，網路上還沒有太多台語社群，成立帳號之初，也沒料想到其實有這麼多人對台語有興趣，只是像我一樣缺乏一個適合的學習管道。沒錯，我的台語是學來的。我是 1999 年出生的北部人，我的家人彼此之間會說台語，但到和我講話的時候，總會自然地切換成華語，因此我雖然是聽台語長大，但說的卻遠不及華語的十分之一流利。直到國中，我在因緣際會下接觸到台語文，發現台語其實是個很深很美的語言，只是缺乏認識，因此我開始自學台語漢字和羅馬拼音，也和家人開始說台語，一點一點把這個「只有聽力被訓練」的母語撿回來。任何語言都是如此，學得越多，越能發現其蘊藏的文化與思考模式有多遼闊。更讓我開心的，是我透過台語拉近了與阿公阿媽的距離，他們終於不必用自己不熟悉的語言來和晚輩聊天，台語帶我重新認識了家人、認識這片土地，也認識了自己。ohtaigi 是一個將我所累積的台語文知識，用輕鬆有趣又有質感的形式整理呈現的地方，我衷心地希望你能在我分享的內容裡找到一點感動，如果能因此產生「好想學台語」的想法，就是對我最好的回報了。🌹（我的分享大多是非營利性質，如果你願意每個月贊助我一杯咖啡、支持我繼續創作的話，歡迎點入👉 <a href="https://portaly.cc/ohtaigi/support">https://portaly.cc/ohtaigi/support </a>給我一些鼓勵💛）＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿<h3>Let&#39;s ohtaigi!</h3>Hello, I&#39;m Jocelyn Wen, the founder and sole operator of ohtaigi. Thank you for clicking in to learn the story behind this account.ohtaigi is an Instagram account I started in college. My original intention was to use designs that appeal to young people to change the subtle impression that many have of Taiwanese (Tâi-gí) as a &quot;lowly dialect&quot; or one that is &quot;unsuitable for refined settings,&quot; and to introduce more people to this language. That was in 2019, when there weren&#39;t many Tâi-gí communities online. When I first created the account, I didn&#39;t realize how many people were actually interested in the language and, like me, simply lacked a suitable learning resource.That&#39;s right, I learned my Taiwanese rather than acquired it. I was born in 1999 and grew up in northern Taiwan. My family members speak Taiwanese with each other, but whenever they spoke to me, they would naturally switch to Mandarin. As a result, although I grew up hearing the language, my speaking ability is nowhere near one-tenth as fluent as my Mandarin. It wasn&#39;t until junior high that I was introduced to written Taiwanese through a twist of fate. I discovered that it is actually a profound and beautiful language, one that is simply misunderstood. I thus began to self-study Taiwanese characters and Romanization, and started speaking the language with my family, gradually reclaiming this mother tongue whose listening skills were the only thing trained.It&#39;s true for any language: the more you learn, the more you discover the vastness of the culture and way of thinking it encompasses. What brings me even greater joy is that Taiwanese has bridged the distance between my grandparents and me. They no longer have to chat with their beloved grandchild in a language they are unfamiliar with. Taiwanese has led me to rediscover my family, my island, and myself.ohtaigi is a place where I organize and present the knowledge of Taiwanese in a lighthearted and engaging format.
