Originally from Milton Keynes, now based in Highgate, London. Combining interesting lyrics, melancholy themes, acoustic guitars, vocals and synths. Local artists such as David Best and Jeremy Peter Allen gave me my stylistic direction and sense of place in the musical world. Over the years I've searched but haven't found anything that’s really clicked, felt professional, mine. This year I’m releasing a number of singles all in an attempt to discover ‘that sound’. What interests me is, why are we making music? What is good music? How do we get better at music? These are all deep questions that I have spent time attempting to answer, often finding those answers in unexpected places. I have an exciting year ahead with lots of music and performances in the pipeline, growing, striving, searching for more music and a deeper connection with people.

Emily Cole is an award-winning alternative pop singer/songwriter with music out on all platforms, including AMI Jukeboxes and NSM Music Jukeboxes located worldwide. Emily performs in and around the greater Houston, TX area and travels to perform for festivals and music conferences. While her produced music is alternative pop, Emily sets up acoustic for her live shows. She performs as a solo artist and a duo, accompanying herself with guitar, ukulele, and keyboard. Emily attended the Josie Music Awards where she was awarded the JMA for 2019’s "Pop/Contemporary Vocalist of The Year." Also being acknowledged as a Songwriter and as an Emerging Artist, Emily Cole has performed at many festivals located across the U.S. When Emily is not performing, she stays busy writing and recording and collaborating with other artists and producers. Emily Cole has added Producer to her resume and has released her first self-produced single titled Dumb, one of many off an album she is self-producing.

The MusicianShip is a non-profit organization that facilitates music lessons, experiences and opportunities. While our mission is not exclusive to any one particular group, we are focused on at-risk youth as they benefit most from positive outreach and music scholarship preparation. We are vetted and approved by the DC Public Schools as an official After-School service provider, allowing us to deliver free music instruction to students who may not otherwise have such opportunities. Our instructors are comprised of accomplished musicians and music educators who serve as positive role-models for children. Unlike many other music schools, our students benefit from sessions led by nationally and internationally recognized performers, including Dennis Chambers, Orianthi and our own Gregory Grainger.
